By replacing the control devices and air conditioning and lighting inside the vehicles with highly efficient equipment, power consumption has been reduced by half (approximately 54%) compared to conventional vehicles. In addition, 100% of the electricity used is renewable energy provided by the power company. Through these efforts, CO₂ emissions have been reduced by approximately 432 tons per year.
